THE SPORTS LOVERS POLL RESULTS
The Sports Lovers poll, sponsored by Caesars Pocono Resorts and administered to 391 men and 235 women, asked sports fans and those in love with sports fans, how their number one team impacts life with their other half.
From better lovin' after a team win to postponing sex till the post-season, the poll determined that sports can act as the ultimate delay of game for warm and fuzzy couple time. Check out what we discovered below.

In exchange for his favorite team winning the Super Bowl, one out of every four men would give up sex for at least a month.
- Fifteen percent of men would give up sex for at least a whole football season, of which 11 percent would give it up, "FOR HOWEVER LONG IT TAKES!" (Side note: 15 NFL teams have never won the Super Bowl. Woe to the partners of those fans!)
- Nearly 30 percent of men think the sex is better after their team wins! Ten percent think they have bad sex after a loss.
- Seventeen percent of men think their performance in the sack is affected by their team's performance on the field.
- More than one in five sports fans ask to wait until the game is over before they'll get busy in the bedroom.
- Out of non-sports fans: a whopping 40 percent believe their partner would give up sex for at least a month if their team was guaranteed a Super Bowl win! And one in four thinks his or her partner would wait for however long it takes!
- One out of every five non-sports fans feels that the sex gets better after his or her partner's favorite team wins.
- Why is it difficult to be romantic during the football season? Here's what some had to say:
- The football game is turned on more often than my wife
- My wife watches TV in the bedroom while I watch the game in the den.
- If you live in Kansas City and wait for a winning season to be romantic, you might as well become a priest!
- For me it's actually easier! He is happiest after a win and a little tipsy too so he tends to show more affection.
- Here are some of the complaints from the sports UNenthusiasts:
- It's okay for him to sit in front of the TV for hours and not want to be bothered. But if I tried that, I would never hear the end of it!
- How can he sit there for eight straight hours!!!
- I could be on fire in the room right next to him and he wouldn't notice.
- I feel left out when we wants to spend long amounts of time watching or talking about sports.
- Having to discuss the nitty gritty details of what happened is deadly.
- He lets a loss or bad playing affect his mood.
- He wants me to cater while he watches and then keep him company.
- Sometimes I feel left out because he would rather watch with his boys.
- I'm not allowed to talk or ask questions while the game is on.
