My wife's favorite baseball team is the Chicago Cubs. One of our first dates was taking in a game together and I thought it would be a great idea to propose to her at Wrigley Field. We had just moved in together and while I was packing up my stuff, I found the ticket stub from that first game we'd gone to together. I knew those seats would make a great spot to ask for her hand so I made some calls and arranged a private tour of the stadium.When our tour was almost over, I escorted her up to "our" seats and asked if she knew why they were special. I thought it was hysterical that she didn't remember. I explained to her that this was where I first began falling in love with her on our date and that, three years later, I wanted to make her my wife.
Right there in the stands I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me. The look on her face was priceless. And she said yes!
